Digital Business Development Manager

Kingdom Digital is growing and we are looking for an experienced sales and marketing professional to join our team. Working closely with our client servicing team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth. You will initiate and build relationships with potential clients and agencies and guide them through our digital solutions that are appropriate to their brand. You will also help to nurture and grow existing client portfolio.

 

Responsibilities

Job scope include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop actionable sales plans to identify market opportunities
  • Follow-up on inbound and outbounds leads with the objective to convert them into sales
  • Use appropriate system/software to track leads and activity
  • Proactive in identifying alternative methods/channels for revenue growth
  • Track and manage company pipeline to achieve business and revenue goals
  • Collaborate with client servicing team to create proposals/pitches for potential leads as well as supporting the team to grow and retain existing clients
  • Maintain full transparency with management on all leads/opportunities
  • Stay abreast of market updates, trends and competitor offerings

 

Requirements

The chosen candidate must have the following skills and experience:

  • An excellent communicator; persuasive but polite and charismatic
  • A good understanding of the digital advertising industry is essential, as the role includes the pitching of Display Ads, Social Media, Web Design and Development and other digital services.
  • Must have sales/new business experience with demonstrable results
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and is self-driven to achieve results
  • Possesses own transport and able to work independently

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate or above in Business Studies, Marketing, Advertising/Media or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience within Business Development/Sales role. Preferably in the digital advertising/marketing agency or related environment
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent command of the English language. Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin will be a plus
