This forms an integral part of a Strategist’s role. You will need to be up-to-date with the latest trends and technology in digital marketing, and use these insights to develop a sound strategy that will help brands connect with their consumers.
An avid storyteller, the Strategist will look for unique opportunities and platforms to narrate the brand stories while still fulfilling consumer needs.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a digital strategist, your tasks include:

  • Understanding client’s brief and identifying the brand’s unique proposition
  • Ability to brainstorm and develop communication strategies as well as creative ideas to meet client’s objectives
  • Presenting initial ideas to account servicing and creative team which will be developed into workable concepts
  • Familiarising oneself with the product, target audience and competitor activities in the market
  • Preparing content, writing and editing copy as necessary for ongoing digital projects
  • Always staying up-to-date with new advertising trends and techniques as well as what’s going on in the digital industry

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to work hand-in-hand with project managers, designers, and developer
  • Strict adherence to deadlines
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise multiple projects

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a decent command of the English language
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Advertising or relevant degree or certification
  • At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
