Watsons, the health and beauty store chain, launched the ‘Move Your Body’ campaign as part of its continuous efforts to promote healthy living among Malaysians. Going into the second year of the campaign with the theme ‘Zumba’, Watsons wanted to create greater awareness about fitness, and at the same time driving registrations and turnout for the biggest and the fittest Zumba dance party.
A vibrant microsite injected with parallax animations and HTML5 capabilities was built specifically for the ‘Move Your Body – Zumba’ campaign. The new website gave users a sense of depth and the illusion of movement, which brought the theme to life. The vivid layout drew users in to explore the different pages that showcased information about the campaign, the event, and also step-by-step tutorials of the dance moves.
In addition, we launched an Instagram video contest whereby users were asked to submit a 15-second video showing off their fitness moves and hashtag it to win attractive prizes. Our sophisticated system then pulled these real-time submissions from the social platform and pushed them onto the website.
